I own a Labrador...do you?
Iona Labrodor's first litter was in January 2020. It was such a great experience that we decided to continue with the program.
Subsequent litters came in March 2021, April 2022, May 2023, March 2024 and April 2025.
They are raised to be loving, affectionate and faithful companions. Our pups are purebred English labs and will come with AKC registration papers.

Harper is a purebred AKC-registered, English, black Labrador Retriever. Harper weighs 70 pounds and has an easy-going, loving temperament. She's a natural at nurturing!
Harper has whelped a litter of pups in March 2024 and April 2025. We have been very pleased with the outcome. The father, Panga, is a stocky, English, yellow Labrador with an ancestry of all yellow parentage. Their puppies have been a true reflection of the docile, even-tempered, easily trainable and eager-to-please personalities of their breed.
Our litters are always a guessing game of how many will be yellow and how many will be black! Black is the dominant coat color, so we usually anticipate over half of the litter to be that.
Tessa, our yellow lab, is her momma. Tessa whelped four consecutive litters (2020-2023) and is now happily retired from our breeding program.

Harper had a litter of ten puppies on April 30th. Momma and babies are doing well...the early days are just a rerun of eat, sleep and eat some more!
This is what we have:
5 Black - 3 females 2 males
5 Yellow - 3 females 2 males
A waiting list was started many months ago. A few have already committed to their puppy choice (color/sex) with a non-refundable deposit of $300.00.
This is what is available: (we will try to keep this updated!)
Yellow Female - 2
Black Male— 1
Please get in touch with us, should you decide on an Iona Labrador puppy addition!

Months before a mating, we receive inquiries about pup availability. For those who are serious (and patient to wait), we begin a list, numbering them in the order in which the inquiry was received.
Once the puppies are born, those on the waiting list will be contacted to see if they are still interested. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to reserve a pup. At that time, we will need to know color (black, yellow) and sex (male/female) preference. This is getting real now!
As the puppies develop and grow, we correspond frequently with pictures, videos and updates. Once the puppies reach 6 weeks and have had their first series of vaccinations, we allow individuals - by appointment - to visit our facility to choose their puppy (if they have not already done so.). This will be done in the order in which deposits have been received.
Often, we see characteristics that stand out in a pup, such as independence or affectionate. We desire the BEST match-up for our Iona puppies and will help you in finding your soul mate.
Message us if you are interested in being put on the waiting list.

Looking for a new friend? A Lab will fill that void! Labs are naturally social and aim to please. No matter their age or size, a Lab will want to be right next to you....or on your lap. (No one has told them they are not a lap dog. LOL)
They don't mind getting wet or dirty and can be trusted around children and grandchildren! They never met a friend they didn't already love.
Check out our "WHY I OWN A LAB" series on our Facebook page! It features many of our "grown-up" pups being the best lab ever!
Harper's pups from the 2024 are pictured (on the right) at six months of age. They are well-cared for and loved so much!

A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to reserve the puppy of your choice. We maintain a waiting list and a deposit secures your place in the order in which it was received.
This is to ensure the puppy-pick you desire in advance. Puppies stay with their momma until eight weeks of age. This is an important time for the pups, as they learn to acquire social skills and adjust to becoming more independent.
The balance of $900 is due prior to or at pick-up.
Venmo or cash only are accepted.

The first three weeks of life are spent inside of a 4' X 4' whelping box. Lab pups are born with their eyes and ears closed, yet a keen sense of smell. They are totally dependent on their momma during this time. But their development is fast!
Once up and walking, we transfer them to a temperature-controlled setting, a 160-square foot "puppy condo". This includes a doggie door entrance onto a 10' X 10' fenced-in, puppy-proof deck. They also begin to learn to do their business in a designated area. It's not actual potty-training, but it's a start.
The rest of their time is spent exploring, playing with siblings and being introduced to the variety of sights, sounds and smells that life has in store for them. Fun times!

We hear from many of our puppy families and love to see how they are living life!
Here's sampling of the lives our puppies are living:
* Bella (2021) is a therapy pet and enjoys camping
* Sadie (2021) joined her family of 3 which has grown to 5!
* Beau and Bunnie (2024) have settled into a routine with their
family, who cater to their every need.
* Rosie (2024) has had a number of photo shoots and is a beach
loving canine!
* Bucky (2022) has a bestie like no other! He lives local and gets to
visit momma Tess and sister Harper occasionally.
* Duck (2025) is "growing like a weed" and such a cuddle bug!
* Moose (2025) is thriving and "has taken over the household".
* Shota (2025) knows how to ring the bell to go outside for business.
* Milo (2024) lives in Charleston and is as sweet as an angel.
* Luke (2021) is the spitting image of his momma Tessa!
* Wilson (2024) loves the lake, the beach, the snow-you name it!
* Juniper's (2025) parents tell us that she is perfect for their family!
